Currency & Exchange Rates
All prices listed on our website are in US Dollars (USD). Use the currency converter to see the adjusted price. When you make a purchase, the final charge will be converted to your local currency at the exchange rate determined by your payment provider or bank. Please note that exchange rates may fluctuate and could result in a slight difference in the total amount charged compared to the listed price.
REFUND POLICY
Returns
Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must be in the original, sealed packaging.
Due to copyright laws, opened records cannot be returned.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase and you need to contact us first.
Used Vinyl/CDs/Cassettes sold AS-IS, no cash/credit card refund will be given. Store credit exchange will be given if the item is defective.
New clothing must have all original tags attached.
Vintage clothing cannot be returned.
New audio equipment cannot be returned if opened. All returns must be made through the manufacturer. Contact the store with any questions.
RECORD STORE DAY ITEMS ARE FINAL SALE, WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS.
15% restock fee will be applied to ALL returns.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, please check your account first.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. Minor surface noise, slight warps, crackles and pops are not considered defects/damage. Vinyl record production is based on old technology. We are not responsible for what the quality control of a pressing plant deems acceptable. For advice on cleaning your records, please send us an email.
If you need to exchange it for the same item, FIRST send us an email at info@thedeadwaxrecords.com and THEN send your item to the address below.

Unless our packaging was damaged upon delivery, affecting the contents or when we sent the wrong item, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Exceptions are made on a case-by-case basis.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
IF A PACKAGE IS UNDELIVERABLE AND RETURNED TO DEADWAX, CUSTOMER TO PAY TO HAVE IT RE-SHIPPED.
International Shipping Charges
Shipping costs for international orders are calculated based on the destination country and order size/weight. The final shipping charges will be displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase. Please note that shipping fees do not include any customs duties or taxes that may be imposed by the destination country, which are the responsibility of the customer.
Customs Fees & Returns
Please be aware that any customs duties, taxes, or additional charges are non-refundable. In the event of a return, only the product price will be refunded, and the customer is responsible for the return shipping fees. We do not cover the cost of customs fees paid at the time of delivery.
